What is appliance management services? How does it work?
We have put together some policies to help landlords and tenants when it comes to appliance breakdowns. We offer, like it says to manage your appliances, when an appliance breaks down and, as a landord, you are responsible for the repair, the tenant will have our number direct so we can deal with booking the call in, assessing and repairing it with out the added stress of trying to find, book or organise an engineer. We will email you that there is an issue, when we plan to call and the outcome of the visit/repair.
There are two policies that we offer, the first being an agreed limit (i.e. £100) that is set between ourselves and you, the landlord, for a repair (this includes the call out) if the repair comes below this limit then we just send an invoice to be paid. If however the repair comes over this limit then we will contact yourselves for authorisation and discuss if the appliance is worth repairing or replacing. The second policy is a monthly direct debit that is set up per property and we cover all the appliances (washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, cooker, dishwasher and any other appliances in the property that is not gas) whether they require a repair or replacement, we will go out and assess the fault and decide the best option for you. Both options are designed to give you peace of mind knowing that your tenants are not left without a working appliance and without them having to trouble (harrassing) you.
